Below you can see the before pictures - a nice, formal sitting room, which had been beautifully finishes, but wasn't fulfilling the needs of my clients for a space to entertain his friends.  Taking inspiration from the outside wrap-around garden and adjacent room painted in a blue/grey shade, I sought to create an intimate, moody, inviting and dare I say more masculine space, perfect to have a nice chilled draft beer and play a billiard/snooker game.

I also added a bit of fun by selecting a chalkboard that was more than just there to write down scores, but also allow those waiting for their turn to test their throwing skills with the ball and hoop attached to the chalkboard.

Due to the size of the space, I had to design a bespoke bar to create a long-term, sophisticated and practical solution for my client whilst allowing for extra sitting and not invading the "clearance" space required for an optimal pool game experience.
