The Modern Heritage Home
A light-filled family home where architectural scale is softened through natural texture, generous upholstery and a quietly restrained palette.
The brief
Family heritage. Contemporary living.
A two-phase transformation of a light-filled living room and a spa-inspired guest bathroom for repeat clients, balancing cultural heritage, modern elegance and everyday family life.
The design decisions
Heritage, interpreted
Abstract Hindu-inspired artwork and patterned accent chairs bring personal meaning into a modern, refined setting.
Texture and warmth
Grey velvet seating and brass lighting soften the generous architectural volume and create comfortable definition.
A spa-like second phase
Neutral porcelain and a bespoke floor-to-ceiling glass panel give the guest bathroom a calm, seamless finish.
