The Knebworth Lounge
A characterful games room where deep colour, a fully bespoke bar and layered lighting turn an everyday space into a room with real presence.
The brief
A place to play.
A bar to gather around.
A garden-facing games room designed for relaxed entertaining, with a bespoke bar, comfortable seating, layered lighting and a rich palette.
The design decisions
01
A bar worth gathering around
Deep navy cabinetry, brass fittings and a solid timber counter make the bespoke bar the centrepiece of the room.
02
Colour with conviction
Rich blue panelling and peacock-feather fabrics lend the room its confident, personal character.
03
Light, layered
Pendants, picture and wall lighting keep the room working from afternoon games to evening drinks.
